A few bedrooms share access points worth knowing in advance.

The Main House

The Main House is built into a hill, so the front entry level is home to Bedrooms 1, 2, and 3, along with the main living, dining, and kitchen areas and the back deck. Bedrooms 4 through 7 are on the lower level.

Bedroom 1 has two lockable doors. One of those doors connects to a stairwell leading to the lower level. If that door is left unlocked, Bedroom 1 can serve as a pass-through between the lower level and the main living areas.

Guests in Bedroom 1 can choose to lock that door for privacy, in which case guests on the lower level have three other ways to reach the main level: the door off the main back deck that leads downstairs, or the exterior doors that lead directly into Bedroom 5 or Bedroom 6.

Bedrooms 5 and 6 each have their own exterior exit doors. The only time guests in those rooms would pass through Bedroom 4 or Bedroom 7 is to access the shared interior bathroom.

The Guest House

In the Guest House, Bedrooms 8 and 9 share one full bathroom, and Bedrooms 10 and 11 share another. Guests in Bedrooms 10 and 11 may pass through Bedroom 9 to exit the Guest House, though Bedroom 10 also has its own exit door.

For most large groups traveling together, this layout has worked seamlessly for over 20 years. For groups who prefer more privacy between rooms, this is helpful to know when assigning sleeping arrangements before arrival.
