  • Check-in is anytime after 4 PM, and key access details are sent to the primary guest 24 hours prior to arrival.

    For privacy and security, detailed arrival instructions and check-in information are provided directly to confirmed guests.

  • To the group members flying in we suggest flying in to the either the San Antonio or Austin, TX Airports.

    • from San Antonio travel time is 35-45 minutes to the home.

    • from Austin we suggest taking the I-130 toll road to the home as it is much faster. Travel time is about 55 minutes. 

    Tip: Guests have successfully used Uber and Lyft to and from the airport

  • Parking is available at both the Main House and Guest House. Between the two driveways, guests can typically accommodate 12+ vehicles, depending on vehicle size and layout.

    Directly across from the property is a large overflow parking area, which is especially helpful for groups arriving with boats, jet skis, or trailers. This setup allows for easier arrivals and departures without needing to rearrange vehicles during your stay.

    The overflow area may also accommodate RV parking if needed; however, there are no RV hookups available on the property.

  • The home is located in the Seguin/McQueeney, TX area, right along the Guadalupe River, with convenient access to nearby cities:

    • Approximately 12 minutes from New Braunfels

    • About 35 minutes from San Antonio

    • Roughly 55 minutes from Austin

    • Around 2 hours from Houston

    Property Viewings:

    If you’d like to view the home prior to or after booking, please reach out to us directly and we’ll be happy to coordinate a viewing when available.

    For the privacy and safety of our guests, we kindly ask that you do not visit or enter the property without a scheduled viewing. The home is often occupied, and current guests may wish not to be disturbed. We appreciate your understanding.

From easy tubing days to paddle time on the water, the Guadalupe River offers something for everyone in your group.

    He offers no hassle drop off & pick up at the rental.

  • Rockin’ R River Rides is New Braunfels’ premier destination for tubing.

    They shuttle your group to the tubing areas and bring you back to the home.

  • The property offers private riverfront access, making it easy for guests to enjoy casual fishing or spend time along the water throughout their stay. Guests are welcome to bring their own fishing gear and enjoy the river at their own pace.

    The river is home to a variety of fish species, including largemouth and spotted bass, white crappie, channel and blue catfish, and several sunfish species.

    Fishing can be especially enjoyable during the cooler months, with options suitable for both experienced anglers and casual fishing.

  • Local watercraft rental companies can deliver jet skis, pontoons, or boats directly to the home, provide operating guidance, and then escort guests to the nearby public boat ramp.

    This allows groups to receive instructions in a relaxed, private setting before heading to the ramp together.

    All watercraft rentals and ramp use are coordinated directly with the rental provider.

Events & Celebrations

The River Haven is well-suited for family reunions, celebrations, and group gatherings, with flexible outdoor space and trusted local vendors to help bring your plans together.

  • The property offers ample outdoor space for tented setups and open-air gatherings.

    All tents must be freestanding and secured with weighted anchors to protect the property and sprinkler system.

  • Yard Card Queen Seguin is a professional lawn sign rental service offering custom yard signs for a wide range of celebrations. Their displays are a fun way to personalize an event or surprise someone in your group.

    Popular occasions include birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, weddings, school-related events, and other special milestones. Each sign can be customized to match the personality and occasion being celebrated.

Catering & Food Options

From cooking together on-site to bringing in local catering, there are flexible food options to fit every group and occasion.

  • Several local caterers and bakeries serve the area, offering everything from casual drop-off meals to full-service catering for larger gatherings.

    Many guests enjoy catering for at least one meal to make hosting easier. A list of trusted local vendors is available, with all arrangements coordinated directly between guests and the provider.

  • Grocery pickup and delivery services such as Walmart+, H-E-B pickup, Instacart, DoorDash, and Uber Eats are available at the home, making it easy to plan meals ahead of time or order in during your stay.

    For prescheduled grocery or food deliveries, we kindly ask that deliveries be scheduled for any time after the 4:00 PM check-in on your arrival day. While we’re happy to accommodate deliveries during your stay, please note that timing and successful arrival of third-party delivery services cannot be guaranteed prior to check-in.

  • The fully stocked main kitchen includes the pots, pans, kitchenware, cutlery, glassware, plates, and bowls needed to prepare and serve meals for large groups, making it easy to cook and enjoy time together.

    For outdoor cooking, a large four-burner gas BBQ griddle is available, along with griddle tools and two propane tanks provided.
