The Essentials
Everything you need to know before booking your riverside wedding, all in one place.

River Haven is a private vacation rental, not a professional event venue.
At all times, the total number of people on the property must remain within our maximum occupancy of 32, including visitors. This limit is strictly enforced and cannot be exceeded under any circumstances.
• For weddings and events, this maximum occupancy still applies during the event itself and cannot be exceeded at any time.
• Events are allowed within the stated maximum occupancy at no additional cost.
• Children age five and under, as well as vendors providing services, are not included in this total.
• Guests are responsible for providing their own event furniture and for completing setup and teardown within standard arrival and departure times.
No parking in the grass. Please only park in the dedicated driveways and the overflow parking area. Our sprinkler systems thank you!
Indoor smoking is not permitted. Smoking is allowed outdoors.
Items Not Allowed
To help keep the home and yard well maintained for all groups, we kindly ask that the items listed below be left at home.

We ask that you do NOT drive any vehicle of any kind in the back yard, with the exception of wheelchairs or other mobility devices.

If you’d like to view the home prior to or after booking, please reach out and we’ll be happy to coordinate a viewing when available.
For the privacy and safety of our guests, we kindly ask that you do not visit or enter the property without a scheduled viewing. The home is often occupied, and current guests wish not to be disturbed. We appreciate your understanding.

A 30% deposit is due at time of booking. The remaining 70% is due 90 days before arrival.
For reservations booked within 90 days of arrival, full payment is required at time of booking.
Primary Guest must be at least 26 years of age to book
Primary Guest will need to sign a standard rental agreement following your booking.
Government issued ID is required as part of our guest-agreement process.

Cancelation Policy: 100% of paid prepayments refundable when canceled 60 day(s) before arrival or earlier. 50% of paid prepayments refundable when canceled 30 day(s) before arrival or earlier. 0% refundable if canceled after. No exceptions.

Our guests have had great experiences with Crown Event Rentals as well as Clark & Co. Event Rentals. They offer a wide range of event essentials such as tents, furniture, decor pieces and provide convenient delivery, set up and pickup at the property.
Note: Freestanding tents and yard games must be secured with weights only. Nothing may be staked into the ground due to irrigation lines.
Guests are responsible for providing their own event furniture and for completing setup and teardown within standard arrival and departure times.

For couples who want a home cooked wedding meal, the fully stocked main kitchen has everything needed to prepare and serve a full spread for large groups, from pots, pans, and kitchenware to cutlery, glassware, plates, and bowls. Cook together, share the meal, and skip the catering bill.
For outdoor cooking, a large four-burner gas BBQ griddle is available, along with griddle tools and two propane tanks provided.
